Q. What happens if I need to cancel my booking?

A. Please give as much advanced warning as possible, particularly for group bookings and/or extended hire periods.
Insufficient notice may lead to forfeiture of any deposit paid.

Q. How far do you deliver?

A. Normal delivery radius for day hire is 20 miles from Dorchester. We are always willing, however, to be flexible depending on number of bikes hired, hire period and delivery charge. Please call to discuss.


Q. Am I covered by any kind of insurance?

A. Cycloan has insurance cover for normal bike hire activity but if you are not a competent cyclist, or have any concerns at all (particularly in respect of group members under the age of 10 years or over the age of 75 years), we recommend you take out your own Personal Accident Insurance cover.


Q. What if I return the bikes later than arranged?

A. If bikes are returned later than arranged there may be an additional charge to pay.


Q. Can you provide bike lights?

A. Lights are available for extended hire only. Lights are not provided for day hire as all bikes must be returned during daylight, at the time as arranged at the beginning of the hire period.


Q. What if my bike is stolen?

A. All Cycloan bikes are equipped with a padlock which must be

used in accordance with our Terms and Conditions . If, however, this has failed to prevent a bike from being stolen we would ask that you contact us as soon as possible.


Q. What happens if the weather is really bad on the day I've booked

bikes?

A. As question 1, we would like as much notice as possible for

cancellations and suggest that you check the weather forecast at least 24 hours before the time of your booking, or making a booking.
